In 2023, Symal Group appointed Fair Company Cleaning to support rapid expansion across Melbourne, Sydney, Avalon, and Geelong. With frequent new acquisitions, Symal needed scalable, compliant, and sustainable cleaning. We implemented integrated frameworks, trained regional teams, and delivered adaptable, standards-driven services—ensuring seamless operations aligned with Symal’s professional image and growth trajectory.

The Challenge

Symal Group’s rapid national expansion required immediate mobilisation of cleaning services across newly acquired and existing sites. From high-volume construction environments to administrative offices, every location demanded strict OH&S compliance, presentation excellence, and sustainability—all ahead of Symal’s anticipated 2024 ASX listing. The challenge was to meet demand quickly without compromising quality, safety, or ethics, while supporting the client’s professional brand across each city and site.

Our Solution

Fair Company implemented scalable protocols to meet diverse site needs, from daily office cleaning to construction site maintenance. A reserve staff pool and real-time scheduling tools enabled agile deployment across cities, while regional teams completed site assessments within 48 hours of onboarding. We maintained strict audit procedures and delivered staff training aligned with OH&S, ESG, and Modern Slavery compliance. This structure ensured site-readiness, consistency, and full alignment with Symal’s sustainability and governance priorities.

The Result

By 2024, Fair Company Cleaning was delivering over 1,000 labour hours per month across eight Symal locations, with zero service interruptions and a 95% satisfaction rate. Our scalable approach and transparent reporting processes helped Symal maintain high presentation standards during investor site visits. This contributed to a smooth and successful 2024 ASX listing and earned Fair Company a multi-year contract extension, cementing our role as a trusted operational partner in their national expansion.
